Vote for your Favorite City

Orlando   Baltimore

What is the concept?

Bar Code USA's concept is to travel across the United States visiting 12 major cities, taping the journey and promoting our sponsor's products using a wrapped tour bus to be seen by millions. Starting with 12 cities, down to 6, then 2 and onto the final vote, our mission is to hook each viewer by giving him or her a chance to crown ONE City, AMERICA'S TOP PARTY CITY!

Why Orlando vs. Baltimore for the pilot?

We challenged ourselves, wanted to stir things up and believed that if we could develop a hit show/pilot out of two "B List" cities like Orlando & Baltimore, the "A List" cities would be explosive. Real places, showing real people is our vision, and how shocking will it be if a "B List" city eliminates an "A List" city in the competition. Anything is possible!

Who is our audience?

Anyone and everyone (especially M/F between the ages of 18 & 40) will watch Bar Code USA and take pride in believing that their city is AMERICA'S TOP PARTY CITY!

What are we selling?

On a national level, we are promoting tourism by showing the hottest places to go, and the best things to do within that city. We are marketing our sponsor's products and generating excitement by including A, B & C list Celebrity appearances (at least one celebrity appearance per episode, if applicable).

At the end of the competition, only ONE city will be voted, "America's Top Party City." Millions of viewers will watch and thousands of locals, including the mayor from the winning city will party with Amy, Angela and Scott at the LIVE Grand Finale / Recap Show.

Voting Rules, Criteria & Text Messaging:

There are no rules... Viewers will watch each episode to decide which city they believe is the most exciting, fun and entertaining city OVERALL, then vote for that city.

There are endless reasons why viewers may vote for any given city. It may be their hometown; they may have family there, or they could have visited one of the cities in the past and liked it. The viewers could also vote in terms of believing their city (San Diego for instance) could beat a city like Baltimore in the semi-finals, so that particular viewer would want Baltimore to win against Orlando to give San Diego a better chance of winning the title.

Text Messaging- Most TV shows today that incorporate a voting mechanism, keep their polls open for 24 hours only. We want to keep the voting/text messaging open for an entire week, airing Bar Code USA several times throughout that week (if possible) to continuously allow new viewers to vote. All votes (text & online) will be tallied up at weeks end and the winning city of that episode will be announced at the start of the following episode.

At $.99 per text message and by keeping the polls open for 6 to 7 days, enormous amounts of revenue will be generated throughout the course of the competition.
